Vacation Babysitter in Tulum

So what can I expect from my vacation babysitter in Tulum? With us it’s simple! We have a small team dedicated to making sure you and your family feel safe and have as much fun as possible while on vacation! Our sitters will facilitate playing in the pool, looking for crabs, diaper changes, reading bedtime stories and everything in between.

The idea behind each service is for kids to lead the playtime so that they can really let their imagination and creativity shine, all while playing with their awesome new friend that will go on adventures with them. Their new friend will of course be a professional babysitter, with years of experience with kids of all ages. When we play in the pool or in the ocean, we prioritize keeping kids in the shade during the hottest parts of the day and regularly applying sunscreen and taking lots of water breaks. We pair all of these transitions with games to keep the fun going. For younger kiddos and babies, we like to take walks right in front of the hotel and make play in the sand under the shade and make sandcastles. All of our sitters are speak English and Spanish so if we ever need to order milk or a bowl of fruit for snack time for the kids, or we can do it no problem!

When the sun sets and kids start winding down we love to host picnic dinners in the hotel room where we get to break from the norm (dinner at the table) and enjoy the novelty of being on vacation. We bring lots of coloring books, play-doh, bubbles, and more to bring a nice relaxing atmosphere to the bedtime routine. We help with getting pjs on, teeth brushed (with bottled water), diapers changed and have an amazing bedtime song playlist prepared.

At Anana, we pride ourselves on being able to offer flexible schedules for families because we understand that you are on vacation, and the last thing you want to do is rush back when you were enjoying dinner at the beach.

We will also send you regular updates to make sure have the peace of mind knowing everything is going great!

Heading to the Tulum Ruins With Kids

The ruins in Tulum are a spectacular sight, a perfect place to see the breathtaking beach in all its glory. Here are some of our local tips for heading to the Tulum Ruins with kids:

·      Remember to pack lots of sunscreen and water. Even though the Ruins are comparatively small, and take about an hour to walk through, there is very little shade in the area.

·      Try to get there was early as possible. The Ruins open at 9am and at that time there are very few people and the ocean breeze keeps it fairly cool.

·      Do your best to go any day except Sunday. On Sundays, locals get discounted and sometimes free entrance to the Ruins which makes it a more crowded day than usual.

·     Entrance is cash only and is 40 pesos per person. With an extra 30 peso fee if you want to bring a video camera.
